Towel Hanger: Macramé

I learnt the art of Macramé in my school. Made this blue-and-white beaded macramé towel hanger for my aunt in Kanpur. It's quite old now... more than 20 years old, I'd say. So it looks a tad dirty now. I was actually pretty surprised to find that my aunt still had it!

Some other items that I made in school, using Macramé, were a plant hanger, a magazine holder and a colorful belt. Never got back the first two after the annual school exhibition, and don't know what happened to the belt. It's been years since I worked with this technique of knots. Thinking of getting some silken chords and funky beads and starting once again!
